EZPrompt XP 5.0 Upgrade - $170.00
As new features (Countdown Timer, Operator Window, Dual-Screen Function, etc.) and optional module (Closed-Captioning, Power-Point, etc.) are added to EZPrompt, you may want to upgrade your older EZPrompt software to the newest version EZPrompt XP 5.0.

Requirements:
• EZPrompt XP 5.0 Software Upgrade requires existing EZPrompt License (any version).
• EZPrompt XP clients with software older than 12 months will be charged a cost of $169.95 for disc and manual (price includes UPS Ground shipping to continental U.S.)

EZCaption - Live - $1495.00
The FCC has spoken...under provisions in the Telecommunications Act of 1996, virtually all television programming has to be translated with closed captions effective January 1, 2006.

EZPrompt XP (as well as EZPrompt Pro XP) has an optional module that permits you to send the text from your scripts to a standard Closed Caption Encoder.

The computer with EZPrompt XP (or EZPrompt Pro XP) is connected to the Closed Caption Encoder via a standard serial cable.

As the text scrolls through the prompter, it is simultaneously fed to the encoder. The video signal from your program or presentation is fed into the encoder, which encodes the caption data into Line 21 and sends it out to the server recording your program, transmitter, etc.

To use this feature, you must:

• Have EZPrompt XP installed on your computer

• Purchase the optional EZCaption Closed Captioning module

• Have a compliant Closed Caption Encoder

• Have a computer with an available serial port to communicate with the encoder and a serial cable that meets the manufacturer's specifications supplied with your encoder

EZPrompt XP has an optional module that permits you to run PowerPoint presentations that can be synchronized to the prompter.

The PowerPoint instructions are embedded into the script, so slide shows can be loaded and slides changed in sync with the script.

To use this feature, you must:
• Purchase the optional PowerPoint module.
• Have a computer that supports dual displays (or multiple monitors).
• Have Microsoft PowerPoint (a component of Microsoft Office) installed on your computer. (Note: The EZPrompt XP PowerPoint module is not compatible with other presentation managers like OpenOffice Impress).
